Dolphin Football Club of Nigeria is based in Port Harcourt Rivers State, and has played many outstanding matches in their home stadium which is renamed Yakubu Gowon Stadium. They have played many outstanding tournaments in both the national and local level like Nigeria Professional Football League and more, and with some of the other West African national leagues as well.
Dolphin Football Club which is now Rivers United Football Club, as their motto implies they are striving to be the best and foremost football in Nigeria and Africa as well.
